The ABU-Garcia Superior 3000MSH is a Japanese market saltwater lure reel which is a great choice for fishing with braid or light nylon. ABU have engineered the reel to cope with saltwater fishing and the use of corrosion resistant Dura-Metal for the reels body, a salt shield bearing on the inner pinion gear and a shielded carbon matrix drag all help to keep the elements at bay. The 3000MSH model features a slightly deeper spool which gives increased capacity whilst retaining a small reel size. It is ideal for use with PE braids or lighter nylon line. The spool is profiled to give long casts and the smooth 6.2:1 gearing makes retrieving and playing fish a doddle. The handle is finished with a lovely soft grip round knob which is easy to grip even with cold wet hands.
