Yamaha RD400 1976-1978 Wire Harness

NOTE: Some of the components on the new harness are different then original because not everything is available.

 Minor differences:

• The bike side of the connector in your picture is non latching, the connector on the new harness is latching. So the customer can swap out the old connector for a latching one or plug them together as is and use a zip tie. See picture.

• There’s one other connection like that on the fuse panel, the large connector block is different from the original and has to be secured with a zip tie. See picture.
  • 

• There isn’t any chocolate or dark green for the signal circuits anymore so the new harness uses brown with a tracer and different shade of green.
• Most of the differences are obvious and nothing that keeps the harness from working.
