The simple pleasure of grilling over live fire meets a multitude of conveniences in the Performer® Deluxe Charcoal Grill from Weber®. An electronic Touch-N-Go™ gas ignition system lights coals with a push of a button without the need for lighter fluid. To greatly increase cooking options, the Performer® Deluxe is outfitted with Gourmet BBQ System™ cooking grates, a 3-part grate system. For fun change-of-pace meals the center grate may be removed and replaced with Gourmet BBQ System cookware (sold separately).This fully-featured charcoal grill also sports a Tuck-Away™ lid holder to safely and securely cradle the lid off the grill, and a CharBin™ that keeps a 20-lb. bag of charcoal weather-protected under the prep table. For easiest maintenance possible, One-Touch™ cleaning system blades at the bottom of the bowl sweep ashes into a removable enclosed ash catcher. A rust-resistant adjustable damper controls airflow into the grill to lower or raise cooking temperatures. A plated steel cooking grate is hinged for easy addition of charcoal while grilling. Heavy-gauge porcelain enameled lid and bowl ensure durability through years of use. Additional feature benefits include a lid handle with a heat shield and 8-inch rubber molded wheels.
